THE NATIONAL Teachers College and the Mitsubishi Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding to provide scholarship grants to deserving NTC students.

The signing of MOU on October 16,2020 was led by NTC President Fred Ayala and Keiichi Matsunaga, general manager of Mitsubishi Corporation Manila branch.

“Realizing the importance of education in nation-building, Mitsubishi Corporation has been continuously supporting the Filipino youth through initiatives such as classroom building projects, leadership trainings, and scholarship programs,” MC said in a statement.

Also present in the virtual signing ceremony were Mitsubishi executives Atsushi Okubo,Rowena Zaballero, Zorigt Khongor, and Nina Cablao.

NTC was represented by Executive Vice President Pam Wu, Registrar Head Dr. Agnes Sunga, Director for Marketing Carlo Jimeno, and Scholarship Coordinator Vincent Jerome Agustin.

The school will soon release the guidelines for students who wish to apply for the scholarship program.

Since the start of academic year 2020-2021, NTC has partnered with several institutions to advance  its vision to give quality and accessible education amid the pandemic.
