THE DEPARTMENT of Education released the second batch of those who qualified as teacher-broadcasters as part of the new normal.

About 106 teachers met the standard required for television and radio teaching for the school year 2020-2021.

Under the Office of the Undersecretary Administration Memorandum 00-0720-0053, DepEd auditioned applicants for DepEd TV, DepEd Radio and DepEd Teleradyo.

The first batch has already undergone training and is now in the process of producing video and audio lessons.

Former broadcaster and television host Paolo Bediones will handle the online orientation and workshops for the second batch in which they will be trained in script writing, personality development, camera angle, proper posture, and related topics that will help them in broadcast teaching.

DepEd congratulated both the first and second batch of teachers who passed the screening.

The department has started its dry-run in airing educational programs on various channels such as GMA Affordabox, PTV 4, IBC 13, and Solar Learning Channels.
