THE CITY government of Manila on Monday started the implementation of limited face-to-face classes after nearly two years of remote learning because of the pandemic.
Limited in-person classes resumed at the Aurora Quezon Elementary School and Ramon Avanceña High School.
In Aurora Quezon Elementary School, 60 students from Kinder to Grade 5 joined the pilot run while 15 senior high students participated in Ramon Avanceña High School.
“Napakaimportante nito dahil iba pa rin kasi talaga ang ginagawa natin na pagtuturo at pag-aaral kapag face-to-face,” Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna said.
“May interaksiyon kasi kapag ganito, nawala kasi ‘yung interaction natin sa mga bata (ngayong pandemic). So, talagang looking forward sila na makabalik sa kanilang mga schools,” she added.
Lacuna assured the parents that their children are protected inside the schools’.
“Ia-assure natin ang mga magulang na we’ll be following strict protocols para sa mga anak nila para protektado po sila sa face-to-face classes,” she said.
