MANILA ALLOCATES P5B FOR EDUCATION PLAN

THE CITY government of Manila has allocated P5 billion for its education plan.

A huge part of the budget will be used to build three modernized public schools, according to the Manila Public Information Office.

These schools are the Dr. Alejandro Albert Elementary School, Rosauro Almario Elementary School, and Manila Science High School which will accept students from any part of the country.

“We will invest, and invest, and invest, on our future which is our children to have a better upscale public school building,” Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso said.

The city said that included in the education plan is giving support to the conduct of distance learning amid the pandemic.

“We will prepare for the next 10-15 years of population growth because it is high time and timely that these facilities be used,” the city said.
