THE LANDBANK of the Philippines has  offered internship program for agricultural courses that aims to prepare students for employment after graduation.

The program has an Education-to-Employment component that helps secure  agriculture-related jobs for scholars.

The 10-week intensive internship program is composed of three weeks of lectures, seminars, and professional and personality development activities at the Landbank Head Office in Manila.

Students will have the chance to do seven weeks of field work in Landbank or in different partner-institutions.

The program was designed to benefit poor but deserving students who shall specialize in the fields of agriculture and fisheries.

It aims to develop skills in modern agriculture, renew enthusiasm for the agricultural sector, promote sustainable development, and reduce poverty in the countryside.
