DEPED GETS MICROSOFT SURFACE HUB FROM USAID
THE UNITED States Agency for International Development recently turned over to the Department of Education the Microsoft Surface Hub, a digital device capable of integrating multi-platform systems.
The device mirrors screens for remote learning and was designed for various activities that can help teachers and students in their studies.
The turnover ceremony was attended by Undersecretary Jose Ernesto Gaviola and Assistant Secretary Ruby Alma Torio along with Dr. Rosalina Villaneza of the Bureau of Learning Delivery.
Gaviola thanked USAID Philippines for providing the Microsoft Space Hub, saying it will be helpful for the continuous development of education quality.
USAID Philippines Director of Education Dr. Thinas LeBlanc vowed the continuous collaboration of USAID with the department in various projects for the development of education in the country and in ensuring that Filipino students get quality education.
