THE DEPARTMENT of Agriculture urged the youth to try farming and fishing under the “Kabataang Agribiz Grant Assistance Program.”

Those aged 18 to 30 willing to engage in agriculture and fishing enterprise can sign up for the program.

Agriculture Secretary William Dar expressed hope that young Filipinos can start their own agriculture business.

Groups and associations are welcome to join provided they meet the qualifications.

Eligible applicants must submit a Business Model Canvas outlining their potential benefit to the DA’s Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service and to the regional offices’ Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division.
