CMU EARNS CHED RECOGNITION AS HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION

THE CITY of Malabon University (CMU) has achieved a major milestone after officially receiving recognition from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as an Institutionally Recognized Higher Education Institution.

Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval described the recognition as a historic achievement not only for the university but also for the entire City of Malabon.

According to Sandoval, the recognition reflects CMU’s continued commitment to maintaining high standards in education quality, effective governance, and academic excellence.

The mayor emphasized that the achievement was made possible through the collective efforts of university administrators, faculty members, staff, parents, and students who have worked together to strengthen educational opportunities in the city.

She also expressed hope that the milestone would inspire further improvements in the local education sector and create more opportunities for future generations of Malabueños.

Sandoval congratulated the entire CMU community and encouraged the university to continue serving as a beacon of knowledge and hope for the city.

The CHED recognition marks another step in Malabon’s efforts to strengthen access to quality higher education and support student development within the local community.
