CITY OF MALABON U CHANGES GRADUATION VENUE
THE VENUE of the graduation rites of the City of Malabon University was changed because documents were not submitted on time before the Commission on Higher Educations.
CMU said that the former administration of ex-Mayor Antolin Oreta III was not able to comply with the requirements issued by CHED, forcing the school to look for a mew venue.
The ceremony was initially set at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City this month. It will now be held at the Oreta Sports Complex on Sevilla Boulevard in Malabon.
A total of 1,638 students will graduate.
“The impact of this non-compliance is deep, among which is the need to put a sudden brake on the activities we can have,” CMU said in a statement.
