CHED GETS HIGH APPROVAL AND TRUST RATINGS

THE COMMISSION on Higher Education was among the most trusted government agency based on the 2022 PAHAYAG First Quarter Survey of PUBLiCUS Asia Inc.

The survey conducted from March 30 to April 6, 2022 showed that commission was the seventh most trusted government agency, with 41.8% trust rating. It also got 56.3% approval rating, the ninth highest among government agencies.

CHED Chairman Prospero De Vera III expressed gratitude to all education stakeholders for working with the agency.

“Salamat sa CHED family sa inyong makabuluhang serbisyo sa publiko pati na rin sa lahat ng public and private higher education institutions sa inyong suporta sa aming mga programa,” De Vera said in a statement.

“I thank Filipinos for their continued support to CHED as we continue to commit in delivering the services you need amid the COVID-19 pandemic,” he added.

CHED continues to promote equitable access to quality education.

To date, 1.6 million Filipino students are no longer paying tuition and miscellaneous fees in more than 200 public universities, while 500,000 others are getting subsidy for their education needs.
