THE BOOK Development Association of the Philippines will hold a three-day all-Filipino online book fair to support local writers in celebration of Buwan ng Wika.

The online book fair will be held on August 16 to 18 to encourage Filipino readers to support local writers and publishers.

“Watch out for the first-ever, All-Filipino online book fair, AKLATAN on Shopee, from August 16-18, 2020,” BDAP said on its Facebook post.

Books can be availed through Shopee, an online application, so that buyers will avoid physical contact with other people.

This as mass gatherings are prohibited under the Modified Enhance Community Quarantine which has been imposed again in the National Capital Region and nearby provinces.
