400K MINORS GET COVID19 JABS
THE GOVERNMENT has vaccinated around 400,000 minors aged 12 to 17 against Covid19, an official of the Philippine Food and Drug Administration said.
FDA Director General Eric Domingo said that about .10 percent of the vaccinated adolescents experienced adverse effect.
The common complaints were body pain, allergies, and hyperventilation.
The FDA official encouraged parents and their children to immediately get vaccinated to have protection against the virus.
Basta walang sakit at pupunta sa vaccination centers, puwede naman bakunahan,” he said.
The pediatric vaccination began on October 15 and was expanded nationwide in early November.
The Department of Health aims to vaccinate at least 80 percent of the 12.7 million children before yearend.
