2024 BAR EXAMS TO FOCUS ON PRACTICAL SKILLS, JURISPRUDENTIAL INSIGHT, AND ANALYTICAL ABILITIES
THE 2024 Bar Examinations will focus on practical skills, jurisprudential perspectives, and the development of analytical and problem-solving abilities, according to Supreme Court Associate Justice Mario Lopez, the chairperson of the examinations.
“The #BarNiJLo2024 will be neither overly difficult nor easy; it will be ‘exacto lang.’ The exams are designed to bridge the gap between the study and practice of law. They will help you transition from law students to fundamentally ‘practice-ready’ and ‘potentially capable’ lawyers,” Lopez stated in his message to Bar takers.
The examinations are scheduled on September 8, 11, and 15, and will continue to be regionalized and digital.
Lopez also offered words of encouragement to Bar takers, reminding them that they are “on the brink of turning their dreams into reality.”
“You’re on the verge of realizing your dreams. You’ve come this far because you already possess what it takes. At this point, trust in the power of your preparation and the strength of your resilience and perseverance,” he said.
“It’s natural to feel tired and anxious. Your studies and review have subjected you to immense pressure. But this exhaustion and anxiety are minor pains compared to the lifetime of glory that awaits you.”
