QUEZON CITY Mayor Joy Belmonte is seeking to get reelected as the city’s top official.

Belmonte filed her certificate of candidacy on Tuesday at the Commission on Elections office at the Eton Centris Mall.

The mayor’s running mate is incumbent Vice Mayor Gian Sotto.

Belmonte is the daughter of former House speaker Feliciano ‘Sonny’ Belmonte.
