SENATOR Panfilo Lacson maintained that he and running mate Senate President Vicente Sotto III will not indulge in mudslinging before or during the campaign.

For Lacson, the greater enemy is the country’s myriad problems, not their rival candidates.

“‘Di ba, naririnig natin katakut-takot na ‘yung siraan. Hindi pa nga nagsisimula ‘yung official campaign, kasi February 9 pa e. Pero ngayon napakaaga, marami nang gibaan,” Lacson said.

He explained that he and Sotto will sell themselves by informing the public of their platforms and programs.

Lacson warned that the national debt will balloon to P13.42 trillion, meaning all Filipinos owe at least P121,000 each, even the newborns.

“Alam ninyo ‘yung trilyon, isang libong bilyon ‘yon, kailan natin mababayaran?
