PRESIDENTIAL bet Panfilo Lacson is aware college graduates struggle to find jobs so he said it might be better if some of them will consider starting a business while waiting for regular employment and be their own boss.

Should he win, Lacson said he will relax restrictions to make state-funded credit facilities for the micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises available for all working age Filipinos.

This way, the senator said, everyone can contribute towards the growth and recovery of the economy.

He issued this statement when a fresh graduate named Mateo Dela Cruz approached him during a town hall meeting in Nasugbu, Batangas.

The young man said he struggles to find a job because of the burdensome work experience requirements of many companies.

Lacson said that the government earmarked P2 billion each for the Department of Trade and Industry and the Land Bank of the Philippines as loan services to stakeholders from the MSMEs to help keep the sector afloat.
