PARTIDO Reporma chairman and standard-bearer Sen. Panfilo Lacson is unperturbed by various pre-election survey results.

He said that he is not worried about his standing because public opinion polls remain too close to call insofar as the presidential candidates are concerned.

“Hindi naman kami nag-aalala kasi ‘yung takbo naman ng kampanya tuloy-tuloy, saka napakaraming surveys na lumalabas, iba-iba naman ‘yung resulta rin, iba-iba ‘yung mga numero. So, focus lang, ganoon lang ang ginagawa namin. Hindi kami nadi-distract,” he said.

Based on the latest “Pulso ng Pilipino” nationwide pre-election survey conducted from September 27 to October 8, 2021 by the Issues and Advocacy Center, Lacson improved to 12.5 percent in his popularity rating.

Lacson broke into double digit figures for the first time since joining the presidential race.

His standing is expected to get a boost in the run-up to the 2022 polls as more political leaders and citizens expressed unequivocal support for his candidacy in tandem with vice presidential candidate Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

Partido Reporma spokesperson Ashley Acedillo also remained confident on the chances of Lacson to win the 2022 presidential race because of his consistent positive trajectory.

“Only our candidate has been consistently going up in the surveys. This is good in terms of campaign strategy because it means whatever we are doing has been effective and we only need to give it more emphasis and more focus in certain areas,” Acedillo said.

“Fundamentally, this means our candidate is strong and he continues to receive widespread support,” she added.
