FORMER Senate president Juan Ponce Enrile and his daughter Katrina have expressed their support to presidential aspirant Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.

Marcos, who is running under Partido Federal Pilipinas, met with the Enriles last week along with Board Member Perla Tumaliuan.

He was endorsed by the Lakas-CMD (Christian Muslim Democrats) in the first district of Cagayan.

According to the Enriles, they discussed the parties’ similar goals and programs.

The younger Enrile is running as congressional representative of the first district in Cagayan province.

A PFP-endorsed candidate, she has thrown her support behind Tumaliuan, a vice governor candidate and PFP chairwoman in the province.

The younger Enrile referred to herself as a “young political aspirant,” despite the fact that she spent her childhood years accompanying her father to campaigns and political meetings “to learn the ropes of politics early.”
