THE 1Sambayan group declared its support for seven senatorial aspirants.

Lawyer Howard Calleja, 1Sambayan convenor, said that they will formally disclose their endorsement on January 28.

The candidates are human rights lawyer Chel Diokno, labor leader Sonny Matula, Senators Risa Hontiveros and Leila de Lima, former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, Kapatiran’s Alex Lacson and former Representative Teddy Baguilat.

“For now, I can safely say that we have seven senators endorsed by 1Sambayan,” Calleja said.

“This will be an ongoing list but for January 28, 1Sambayan will be endorsing Leni, Kiko and the seven senators just mentioned,” he added.
