XAVIER University-Ateneo de Cagayan has partnered with Laminar Aviation Inc. to enhance its academic and training programs.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by XU President Fr. Mars Tan, SJ, and LAI Founder Capt. Carlo Aclan, with key administrators and officials from both institutions in attendance.

This partnership aims to establish joint academic and training programs based on equality, reciprocity, and mutual benefit, while respecting the independence and capacities of both institutions.

The collaboration will include academic programs, research initiatives, and other activities, with each project requiring separate agreements for approval and governance.

Capt. Aclan expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting Laminar’s commitment to safety and quality, and XU’s reputation as a top-performing university in Asia.

Fr. Mars Tan emphasized the significance of the partnership. “This is a milestone for XU because we have been preparing our programs for the Campus of the Future. I believe that as an academic institution, we are ready for this collaboration,” he said.

“We are happy that Laminar supports our programs and our mission to produce graduates who have conscience, commitment, and competence,” he added.
