A VISUALLY impaired graduate from the Davao de Oro State College passed the 2022 October Licensure Examination for Teachers.
A VISUALLY impaired graduate from the Davao de Oro State College passed the 2022 October Licensure Examination for Teachers.
DDOSC hailed Jerrick Manait Toming for his feat. Toming is a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education.
He and 10,039 others passed the examination.
Congratulatory messages from the DDOSC community poured in for Toming, the first person with visual impairment to pass the examination in Region 11.
Special Education Teacher Santos II Damiles Batingal, the person assigned to assist Toming with the examinations, lauded the latter for overcoming the challenges.
“I am very proud of you sir for even a very short period of time nga nagkaila ta, you proved me that there is still hope for people with special needs, that they should never surrender on their dreams rather they must work hard on it,” Batingal said in his Facebook post.
