/ 20 August 2021

AS PART of the preparation for the resumption of limited face-to-face classes, around 800 students of the Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation in San Carlos City, Pangasinan were inoculated against Covid19.

City Information Officer Jhuliano Nazareno said those vaccinated were clerical students who will be deployed in hospitals.

“The local government unit through the City Health Office strives to get vaccine allocation for these students who are also considered to be under the A1 priority group of the vaccination program of the government,” Nazareno said.

He noted third and fourth year students who will be attending in-person classes have also received their vaccines.

“These students are expected to help in combating the dreaded virus,” Nazareno said.

As of August 17, San Carlos City has administered 25,454 doses of Covid19 vaccines.
