UST SUCCESSFULLY RENEWS QS FIVE STARS RATING

THE University of Santo Tomas has successfully renewed its Quacquarelli-Symonds (QS) five-star rating, reaffirming its excellence in multiple academic and institutional areas.

In the latest QS Stars evaluation, UST earned five stars in Teaching, Facilities, Employability, Social Impact, and Global Engagement. The university also received four stars in Good Governance and its Doctor of Medicine program, which was recognized as the qualifying program for the Specialist Criteria.

Meanwhile, Arts and Academic Development received three stars, indicating areas for further improvement in the institution’s continuous pursuit of excellence.

UST first joined the QS Stars rating system in 2014, initially earning four stars, before achieving its Five Stars rating in 2021. It remains the only higher education institution in the Philippines to hold this prestigious rating.
