UST SEEKS END TO ARMED CONFLICT IN ISRAEL

THE UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas sought an end to the armed conflict in Israel that has claimed hundreds of lives.
“The University community is one in calling for an immediate end to the armed conflict and the utilization of avenues for peaceful resolution of issues,” UST said in a statement.
It expressed its condolences for the families of those who were killed in the clashes.
“We implore the blessings of the Almighty for our aggrieved brothers and sisters,” the school said.
“May the deceased find rest and may the people of their land experience lasting peace.”
