UST HOLDS COVID LECTURE SERIES
THE UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas Research Center for Social Sciences and Education tied up with the Teacher Education Council of the Department of Education in organizing a virtual lecture series for teachers and university heads.
The program, with the theme ‘TECOVID19 Colloquy Series: Understanding Teacher Education Noticing Behavior During Covid19 Pandemic—Mindfulness, Decision-Making, and Adaptation’, will run from August to October 2020 through UST Cloud Campus.
“The series will provide understanding on how the Covid19 pandemic is shaping and reshaping the ontological, epistemological and axiological directions and attributes of today’s higher education delivery in most parts of the globe,” UST RECESSED said.
“The series will also help leaders and program implementers of teacher education institutions in institution-wide level initiatives such as policy design, and support to organization and internal quality assurance systems,” it added.
The keynote speakers include Associate Professor Robert Kleinsasser of Arizona State University, Associate Professor of Boston University, Professor Shaun Nykvist of Queensland University of Technology in Australia, and Dean Ee Ling Low of Nanyang Technology University, Singapore.
