THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines’ Open University will be holding its first Alumni Congress on July 30 to 31.

All graduates of UPOU since 1997 were invited to join the event themed “Sustainability and Agility of the UPOU Alumni Community amidst Disruptions.”

The two-day congress, mounted in collaboration with the UPOU Alumni Foundation Inc., will be held online through Zoom.

UPOU said it will gather its alumni to strengthen ties and “build a strong network among its alumni members.”

“This way, the alumni will be able to contribute to the fulfillment of UPOU’s mission of providing quality higher education through open and distance elearning,” it said in a statement.
