UNIVERSITY OF CEBU RENEWS PARTNERSHIP WITH ALLIANCE INC.
THE COLLEGE of Computer Studies of the University of Cebu renewed its partnership agreement with Alliance Inc., a leading Filipino-owned IT services and solutions provider in the Philippines.
Officials from both institutions witnessed the signing of the memorandum of agreement.
“The partnership ensures the growth and mastery of UC-CCS students, equipping them with the skills required to become qualified individuals working in their respective fields to serve global clients,” the university said.
“It is a breakthrough towards a promising and encouraging career for UC-CCS students, highlighting the quality and success of the University of Cebu as an educational institution,” it added.
In 2014, the two organizations collaborated for the establishment of the UC-Alliance Near-Hire Program.
The program provided UC-CCS students with an opportunity to participate in the company’s schemes and industry.
It also offered various initiatives including the Jumpstart Program, which is an elective course facilitated by the company’s mentors focusing on topics such as Nihongo, Project Management and J2EE.
As part of the initiative, a specialized training program called Summer Bridge Program was provided to the top 40 exam passers from various schools in Cebu.
