THE UNIVERSITY of Cebu will offer loans to 120 nursing students under its “Study Now, Pay Later: 4th Year Nursing Program.”

UC founder Augusto Go said the loan for graduating nursing students will have zero interest.

After the students graduate and pass the board examination, Go said they have the option to work at the UCMed and St. Vincent General Hospital or at the UC Colleges of Nursing.

This will help parents pay the loan and provide the graduates work experience needed to pursue a career abroad.

“During your 4th year and review, please forget about boyfriend and girlfriend, just focus on your studies. I want you to pass if not top the board exam so I can give you a car,” Go said in mix English and Cebuano.

The program is in collaboration with the UC Nursing Institute which aims to foster a progressive clinical career roadmap for nursing practitioners.
