THE UNIVERSITY of Batangas was ranked as the top electrical engineering school in the Philippines.

Based on data from the Professional Regulatory Commission, UB recorded a 100 percent passing rate with 55 board takers.

It was followed by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Sto. Tomas campus, which also recorded a perfect passing rate with 42 examinees.

Batangas State University-Alangilan ranked third, with all its 35 board takers passing the exam.

The ranking was based on the results of the November 2019 electrical engineering licensure examinations.

A minimum of 25 passers is needed in order for schools to be ranked.

The University of the Philippines is the top school in eight engineering fields with a 99.5 percent overall passing rate in licensure examinations.
