THE UNIVERSIDAD de Zamboanga held its first face-to-face commencement exercises after two years of online learning activities.

The commencement ceremony for Class of 2021 had the theme “Building Resilient Communities by Reimagining and Redesigning the Educational Landscape through Agility and EdTech Innovations.”

Dr. Raissa T. Guldam, a UZ Medtech alumna and 2014 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination Board topnotcher, was the keynote speaker.

Also present were members of university officials, deans, faculty and the vice president of the Alumni Association.

All the participants were told to follow health protocols. They were seated 2 meters apart.
