UNIVERSITY of the East graduate Trisha O. Martinez was crowned Miss Tourism Philippines 2021.

Martinez earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from UE.

Expectedly, her advocacy is to promote oral health and the prevention of diseases.

She also won the Best Skin Award, the Miss Tyro Sorta Award and the Top Model Award during the coronation night on October 3 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center.

She competed with 43 other beauties. She will represent the country in the Miss Tourism Universe pageant in Lebanon.

In 2018, Martinez was crowned Miss UE.

She also previously won the Las Casas Lakambini pageant. She was also a contender in Bodyshots 2016 and was the winner of Mutya ng Pila in 2015.
