PROFESSORS of the University of the East Caloocan have passed the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Applied Knowledge Exam.

The passers were Prof. Ken Elexander Cabinian and Prof. Lea Christine Vergino of the College of Business Administration.

The exam is a diploma-level award comparable to a UK university degree.

After passing the rigorous exam and participating in the ACCA Tutors Camp 2024, the two professors are now ACCA Tutor Advocates and can represent ACCA initiatives and mentor students.

ACCA is a global professional accounting association founded in 1904 and currently has over 240,00 members.

An ACCA certification is regarded in nearly every nation as being at par with regional accounting credentials, allowing for a member’s career advancement in both domestic and foreign environments with equal professional acceptability.
