UDM ISSUES GUIDELINES ON TABLET BORROWING
STUDENTS of the Unibersidad de Manila who want to borrow tablets for their online learning should make a reservation with the school library.
Under the guidelines on borrowing and returning Samsung tablets, students should email [email protected] if they want to reserve a tablet.
The school will release units on a first-in, first-out system.
Students are allowed to borrow the tablets if they have a validated library card (for old students) and registration cards certified by the University Registrar for first year and Grade 11 students.
If their request is approved, the students must accomplish a university library form. The tablets will be numbered based on the number on the library form for tracking purposes.
The unit will then be scanned for any damage or defect, and if deemed ready, the library assistant will release the item to the borrower.
The tablet shall be borrowed for one semester.
“Any infraction committed in the Affidavit of Undertaking shall be dealt with accordingly,” UdM warned.
The UDM Library is open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
