TSU EXCELS IN OCTOBER 2024 ELECTRONICS LICENSURE EXAMS

THE COLLEGE of Engineering at Tarlac State University was recognized by the Professional Regulation Commission as one of the top-performing universities in the October 2024 Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination.

TSU achieved an 80% institutional passing rate under the category of schools with 30 or more examinees, earning the third spot nationwide.

Its first-time takers for the ECE and Electronics Technicians exams achieved impressive passing rates of 88.24% and 94.44%, respectively.

The university also recorded a 90.91% institutional passing rate for the ECT boards, significantly exceeding the national passing rate of 70.77%.

For the ECE boards, TSU stood out with a higher-than-average performance compared to the national passing rate of 45.99%.

In addition, Sherwin Moises Nuqui, a TSU Electronics Technician examinee, ranked third in the ECT boards with a remarkable 90% average.

TSU was represented by COE Associate Dean Engr. Aldrin Joar Taduran, along with faculty members Engr. Idris Jeffrey Manguera and Engr. Mark Benz Pineda, who received the plaque and certificate on behalf of the university.
