A JUNIOR high school student and teacher of the Timoteo Paez Integrated School in Balut, Tondo invented an “e-frontliner robot” that delivered modules to students during the pandemic.

Teacher Marisol Payra and Angela Mae Mojica made the e-frontliner robot that was used during the pandemic to distribute modules. It works via Bluetooth.

The robot can move and follow the command to open its drawers for the retrieval or placing of documents. It has an attached UV sanitizer and automatic alcohol dispenser for people’s safety.

Payra said that the students have been trained in Robotics since elementary.

“Malakas po kasi sa aming paaralan ang mga initiatives ukol sa Robotics at nagsimula ang mga bata sa basics nito noong elementary pa lamang kung kaya pagdating ng High School ay handa na sila sa designing,” the teacher said.

The school continues to hold events to encourage inventions particularly those that will be of use to the community.
