TMTC SUBIC READY FOR F2F CLASSES

/ 26 November 2021

THE MANILA Times College in Subic is ready for the resumption of limited face-to-face classes.

Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Chairperson and Administrator Wilma Eisma and college officials inspected TMTC’s facilities on Tuesday.

They also placed a safety seal, indicating that the school has complied with the health and safety protocols.

“I am very happy that it seems like we’re finally going to do it. The Manila Times College will be the first college/university that will be conducting limited face-to-face classes here in the Subic Bay Freeport,” Eisme said.

“And I hope the others will follow suit soon,” Eisma added.

She said the SBMA is very supportive and willing to help the school.

“This is very crucial because we want to be able to send the word that Subic is back. Subic is back on its course. Subic is here to stay and this face-to-face is a very very strong message in that sense,” Eisma added.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mary Ann Gienette Medina, TMTCS executive vice president, said that the resumption of in-person classes is a “milestone” for the college.

“This is a milestone for us because it’s very important. It’s not a matter of compliance; it’s a matter of safety and most of all, it’s a sign of hope that things are actually getting better. And as the fourth, only school here in Region 3 to have the permit for the limited face-to-face [classes] is such a very good activity for us,” Medina said.
