THE SOUTHERN Leyte State University has signed a deal with the Sogod National High School on the training of teachers on Information Technology.

A Memorandum of Agreement was signed by the two schools on February 9, 2023.

SLSU said its partnership with SNHS aims to advance the technology skills of high school teachers.

SNHS Principal Aura O. Aguilar said that the partnership will help the school as it is struggling to keep up with the advancement of technology.

“Although the DepEd has continually uplift educational technology in the country, it is still very challenging for us to adapt to the needs of the time most especially that with the educational landscape, technology is already deemed necessary to most of the students,” Aguilar said.
