/ 22 April 2022

SCHOOLS came to the aid of the Visayas State University which was recently ravaged by Tropical Storm Agaton.

VSU thanked the Southern Leyte State University which gave food and other items through its “Project Bulig.”

Other schools like the Samar State University, Leyte Normal University, and the University of Eastern Philippines also gave  donations to VSU.

They donated sacks of rice, bottled water, food items and used clothes to the VSU community.

The university said that Commission on Higher Education Commissioner Aldrin A. Darilag urged the schools to help VSU with its recovery.

“We continue to be thankful to all our partners including government and private agencies extending their help to our university and our surrounding communities affected by TS Agaton,” VSU said on its Facebook page.
