SAMAR STATE UNIVERSITY RESUMES OPERATIONS

/ 1 October 2020

THE SAMAR State University has resumed partial operations after employees who were exposed to Covid19-positive individuals tested negative for the coronavirus.

The skeletal workforce of the school’s Research and Innovation Center, Registrar’s Office, College of Industrial Technology, and General Services resumed their operations on Tuesday.

Transactions in these offices were suspended after employees were exposed to Covid19 positive individuals on September 24, 2020.

The school advised its personnel to always observe minimum health standards and to wear face shields when inside the campus.

To minimize contact, the university will also hold meetings virtually.

The school urged its employees who have symptoms of the coronavirus to report to the Chief Security Officer for instructions.
