THE SAMAR State University has been allowed by the Bureau of Immigration to accept foreign students.

The approval was given after the university complied with the requirements of the bureau for its Main campus.

“This internationalization milestone of the University is yet another goal achieved to widen the reach of innovating, building and serving,” SSU said

With the approval, the university will create a unit to handle and monitor the foreign students.

These are for programs like nursing, secondary education, elementary education and information technology.

SSU started the application for the authority to accept foreign students in 2021. It got the approval on May 30, 2022.
