SAMAR STATE U GETS 3-STAR IN QS UNIVERSITY RANKINGS
THE SAMAR State University got a three-star rating in the Quacquarelli Symonds, a London-based independent compiler of the World University Rankings.
A three-star university means that it is nationally recognized and may have begun to earn global acknowledgment. Also, its graduates are appealing to employers.
SSU got five stars in academic development, social responsibility and employability.
It secured four stars on teaching, inclusiveness and facilities, and three stars for special criteria.
The QS Stars rating system is operated by the QS Intelligence Unit, the independent compiler of the QS World University Rankings since 2004. The system evaluates universities on a wide range of important performance indicators as set against pre-established international standards.
Ratings are valid for at least two years.
