PUP STUDENTS HOLD PROTEST TO DEMAND ACADEMIC EASE
STUDENTS from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines on Friday held a protest rally to press their call for academic ease.
The Engineering Spectrum, the official student publication of the College of Engineering, said that the students mobilized to demand a break.
They also questioned the quality of education under distance learning and urged the school to implement a no-fail policy.
They noted that it is “undemocratic” for students to receive failing grades during a pandemic.
The Office of the Student Regent earlier asked the school to implement an academic ease and academic break until April 18, 2021. The administration has yet to take action on the matter.
