THE POLYTECHNIC  University of the Philippines’ College of Architecture and Fine Arts will be renamed College of Architecture, Design, and the Built Environment, according to the department’s official student publication.

The Freehand, PUP – CAFA’s student publication, said the renaming was approved during the 170th meeting of the Board of Regents on September 16.

The renaming of the college will take effect at the start of the academic year 2020-2021 today, October 5, 2020

The certificate was handed by University Board Secretary Prof. Rolando M. Covero, Jr., the publication added.

Students greeted the announcement with levity.

“Paano basahin? Kadbe o kade? Wow grabe,” posted some sentiments on facebook.
