A GRADE 12 student of the Philippine Science High School was offered scholarships from seven prestigious universities in the United States.
A GRADE 12 student of the Philippine Science High School was offered scholarships from seven prestigious universities in the United States.
18-year-old Aneko Delfin was accepted at the University of Pittsburg, Oregon State University, University of Michigan-Flint, Temple University, Bentley University, Drexel University and Hofstra University.
“7 US acceptances, all with scholarships (amounting to P17 million)! To God be all the glory,” Delfin wrote on Facebook.
Delfin also passed entrance exams in the University of the Philippines, De La Salle University and Ateneo de Manila University.
Meanwhile, she thanked her family, teachers, mentors and friends for their support to her.
“With my college decision season coming to a close, I’d like to thank everyone who helped me through this journey,” Delfin said.
“Highest praise and thanks to God. Never ako iniwan no matter how heavy the pressure or how rigorous the process HUHU thank you talaga Lord,” she added.
Last week, Grade 12 student Benjamin Arches Baui from Santo Tomas, Isabela was also offered scholarships from Bentley University, Arizona State University, Xavier University, University of Arizona, Syracuse University, Merrimack College and Jacobs University Bremen in Germany.
