NUEVA VIZCAYA STATE U RECEIVES FUNDING FOR SMART CAMPUS PROJECT
THE COMMISSION on Higher Education has approved the release of P7.2 million for the
Nueva Vizcaya State University’s Smart Campus project.
The school said that the money will be sourced from the allocation under the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act.
School officials received the signed memorandum of agreement for the project on Friday.
The fund will be used to upgrade the NVSU campuses’ “backbone” to fiber optic.
The university said that the development of smart campuses requires investments in ICT infrastructure, acquisition of learning management systems and other appropriate equipment to fully implement flexible learning modalities.
Meanwhile, the NVSU opened its doors for the walk-in vaccination of its employees and their relatives.
