/ 27 August 2026

THE MUNTINLUPA City Police Station and San Beda College Alabang are closely coordinating to validate information regarding a reported security concern involving the school.

In a joint statement, the police and school said no direct or verified communication has been established confirming that the alleged threat was made or intended to be carried out.

“In line with standard safety protocols, the school administration and the Muntinlupa City Police Station have undertaken appropriate precautionary steps to ensure the security of the campus community while verification and assessment continue,” they said.

They stressed that the measures are precautionary and should not be interpreted as confirmation of an actual or imminent threat.

The police and school administration remain in close coordination and are monitoring developments as the security assessment continues.

They said they would continue to evaluate the situation and implement appropriate measures based on verified information and the results of the ongoing security evaluation.

The two institutions also urged the public, particularly students, parents, faculty members, and school communities, to immediately report any information concerning possible threats to school authorities or the police.

“We also call on everyone to avoid circulating unverified information that may cause unnecessary fear or confusion. Matters involving public safety must be reported immediately and allowed to undergo proper verification by the appropriate authorities,” they said.
