MINT COLLEGE DECLARES ACADEMIC BREAK
THE MERIDIAN International College in Pasig City declared an academic break from May 11 to 14 to give its community time to recover from the effects of the elections.
Classess will resume on Monday, May 16.
The school also extended academic deadlines.
It said that it understands that students might be anxious and stressed and giving them some ease is one way of helping them cope.
“We at MINT College understand how the recent elections may have caused anxiety and stress. We respect the rights of the MINT community to express oneself and to process the recent events in ways that are most helpful to them,” the school said.
“MINT will also continue to monitor and re-evaluate the current situation by the end of this week should there be a need to make adjustments to next week’s schedule,” it added.
Students who wish to have classes during the break can coordinate with their teachers, the school said.
