THE MAPUA University was among the top 10 schools in the country when it comes to preparing and producing the most employable graduates.

A recent survey conducted by online job portal JobStreet by SEEK showed that Mapúa was the fifth best school preferred by employers in the country.

The survey was participated by over 700 companies in 42 industries.

“Through the University’s career services and programs, Mapúa students can explore career paths, connect with industry leaders, and access a variety of resources. These will help them navigate the job market once they graduate,” Patrick Glenn O. Acorin, director of Mapúa’s Office of International Career and Exchange Programs, said.

Meanwhile, Mapúa graduates are also highly preferred in the information technology and the construction industries as acquisition officers consider the university one of the top three schools to find skilled individuals for these industries.

The university said graduates of Information Technology programs may explore careers in data science, software engineering (BS Computer Science); business analytics (BS Information Systems); game design and development (BS Entertainment and Multimedia Computing); computer network and security, and application development (BS Information Technology), among others.

On the other hand, graduates of BS Construction Engineering and Management program may specialize as construction engineers, head developers and construction project managers, among others.
