LYCEUM TO LYCEANS: MEET  SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

THE LYCEUM of the Philippines University- Manila reminded its students to make sure that the gadgets they will use for distant learning will meet the minimum system and technical requirements.

The university said that desktop and laptop users must have at least 2 gigahertz of processor, 20 gigabytes or higher free storage space, and at least 4 gigabytes of memory.

Students must also have at least 1.5 megabytes per second internet speed and at least 2 GB of data per week dedicated for their online schooling.

Lyceum urged students to use the updated versions of browsers for faster data processing.

The school also informed those who will use the school’s mobile application called ‘myLPU’ that they will need at least 128 kilobytes per second bandwidth.

Classes in the university started on September 7, 2020 using its flexible learning scheme.
