LPU-BATANGAS GRAD TOPS PHARMACIST LICENSURE EXAM

A graduate from the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas Inc. topped the Pharmacist Licensure Examination given last month.

Deanne Marizthel Janda Madrio got the highest score of 93.55.

The Professional Regulation Commission said 1,546 out of 2,337 examinees passed the exam.

Abigail Santiago Xu of the University of the Philippines Manila placed second with a score of 93.45; followed by Rein Cyril Malang Miranda also from UPM, with 92.45; and Aina Shane Botones Fortuno from Lyceum of the Philippines-Cavite, 92.42.

They were followed by Markus Lan Abiog from UPM, 92.38; Rosh Camille De Los Angeles Belen of University of Santo Tomas, 92.17; Jerald Patrick Julian Punzalan of UPM, 92.05; Monsour Carlo Hidalgo Salzar from Saint Louis University in Baguio City, 91.85; Rex Ian Payumo Pahang from UPM, 91.67; and Pamela Eika Alfar Ng of San Pedro College in Davao City, 91.55.

Meanwhile, the top 10 schools with 10 or more examinees with at least 80 percent passing percentage are UPM (100), Adamson University (100), St. Scholastica’s College-Tacloban (100), Mariano Marcos State University (97.73), De La Salle Medical & Health Sciences Institute (96.43), SLU in Baguio City (92.86), University of Makati (92.31), Saint Mary’s University In Nueva Vizcaya (85.71), Our Lady of Fatima University-Antipolo (85.51), Saint Paul University-Tuguegarao (84.21), and UST (81.82).
